When I was younger, I used to drink Jameson on the rocks like it was my duty. But now that I’m older, one taste of the stuff and my gag reflex is working overtime. But when I tried Banana Jameson at my favorite little watering hole, I was totally hooked. It’s absolutely perfect.
But now that I’m living across the universe from NYC, there is no banana Jameson to be had. Lucky for me it’s about the easiest thing to make ever. The hardest part of the process is waiting three days for it to be done!
Ingredients (Makes a Whole Bottle):
- 6 Ripe Bananas
- 1 Liter Jameson
- Roughly chop the bananas and put into a big container (I had to use plastic, but if you have glass that’s so much better to use).
- Pour the Jameson over top and tightly seal.
- Let sit for three days, strain the bananas out, and put back into a bottle.
- Enjoy over ice!
